Jilted wife divorces cheating husband with bar sign

A cheating husband has been dumped in the most sensational fashion, with his now ex-wife letting him know in a sign on a popular bar in the UK.

The woman, who discovered her husband for many years was having an affair, left him the message in no uncertain terms, South Wales Evening Post reported.

"Paul... I am divorcing you," the sign read.

The woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, followed it up later with: "BTW I am keeping the dog".

The jilted lover asked Noah's Yard staff to put up the sign after she was left devastated by the news of the affair.

"I was angry and upset so wanted a sign to go up for everyone to see," she said.

“When I found out [about the affair] I went through a mixture of emotions but felt angry and wanted him to pay.

"I did feel a bit better once the sign went up. I wanted to name and shame him."

According to the owner of the bar, Noah Redfern, this was the first time their sign had ever been used for a divorce.

“Maybe this will become a new way of asking for a divorce," Redfern said
