Woman 'left mother on toilet for days'
A 91-year-old woman has died after allegedly being left on a toilet by her daughter for days.
Sharon Caslow, 65, from Maryland in the US has been charged with six counts of manslaughter after her mother Audrey was found dead by medical workers.
Caslow allegedly told police she knew her mother had been in the bathroom for two days but never asked for help.
The victim was taken to a hospice but died 10 days later from renal failure.
The death has now been ruled a homicide and the victim’s daugther has been charged, and released on a $100,000 (USD) bond.
Sharon Caslow had previously been charged with abuse of a vulnerable adult.
No reason has yet been given for why she allegedly left her mother for days.
