Queensland police have revealed a woman in her 50s has been subjected to 48 hours of sexual and physical torture.

The woman was repeatedly raped at a house in Moorooka, in Brisbane's south, earlier this month according to police.

A 42-year-old man from the same suburb has been charged with deprivation of liberty, one count of torture, four counts of common assault amongst a range of other sexual offences.
