A man has died in a glider accident north of Melbourne.
The man's glider came down at Mangalore, near Nagambie about 1.30pm AEDT.
Police say it reached a height of 40 to 50 feet after launching, but then rolled to one side, lost speed and crashed.The 54 year old from Epping, in Melbourne's north, died at the scene.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau will conduct an inquiry.
