Trio charged with drug trafficking

ABC November 6, 2009, 3:14 pm

Three men have been charged over an alleged drug trafficking ring operating between Adelaide and Queensland.

Police will allege the men in their 30s from Glen Osmond, Coromandel Valley and Parkside in Adelaide are the ringleaders of an organised gang.

On Wednesday, police allegedly uncovered 41 bags of cannabis at a southern suburbs storage facility in Adelaide.

They raided 10 houses and a business in the southern, eastern and western suburbs on Thursday as a result and allegedly found $100,000 along with drugs and equipment.

Police say it stems from a three-month investigation.
