Pregnant woman assaulted in Darwin's north

Northern Territory Police are looking for man who assaulted a pregnant woman in Darwin's northern suburbs last night.

Police say a 23-year-old woman was assaulted by a man on Wearing Crescent in Karama at 10.30pm.

Officers believe the woman was followed by the man before the assault happened.

The man has been described as being of Aboriginal in appearance, wearing knee length shorts with no shirt or shoes on.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
