A 5.1 magnitude earthquake has struck off the north-west coast of Western Australia.
According to the Geoscience Australia, the quake struck in the Indian Ocean about 300km north of Exmouth at around 03:10AM local time.
It's believed the quake could have been felt by people up to 252km away and could havecaused damage up to 20km away.
As yet there are no reports of damage from residents in the region.
There is no tsunami warning.
