Police have charged a woman who allegedly abducted an 11-day-old baby from Dubbo Hospital, in central-west New South Wales.
It is alleged the woman took the baby from the hospital's paediatric ward yesterday afternoon.
Staff at Dubbo Hospital noticed the baby was missing from the paediatric ward at about 4.00pm (AEDT) yesterday.They immediately contacted police, who reviewed the hospital's CCTV footage.
After further investigations they went to a house in Orange where they found the baby and arrested a 27-year-old woman.She is expected to appear in court later today.
