Tony Sage's Cape Lambert says it has received expressions of interest over its recently-acquired Lady Annie copper mine Queensland, but is not in negotiations for a sale.
Days after finalising the acquisition of the assets of collapsed miner CopperCo, Cape Lambert said today it had received "several expressions of interest" in relation to its recently-acquired assets, including Lady Annie.
"No negotiations have commenced to date," the company said.The news comes a day after Cape Lambert called to oust the board of Buka Gold.
Cape Lambert, which picked up a 20 per cent stake in the group through the CopperCo transaction, wants to install Mr Sage and two other directors, on the Buka board.Shares in Cape Lambert were trading 1¢ higher at 33¢ at 11.15am Perth time.
