Toxfree hooks more WA work

The West Australian July 1, 2009, 1:30 pm

Toxfree shares bounced in mid-morning trade today after news it had scored a role in servicing WA's Gorgon project in the state's North West.

The local waste management company shares climbed 8 per cent to $1.95 after announced it had a memorandum of understanding with Toll Group, which on Monday entered into an agreement with Gorgon partner Chevron Australia to manage the Barrow Island Supply Base, to provide all waste management services in the project.

In February Toxfree secured a three year contract to manage oil and gas giant Woodside Petroleum's waste and industrial services for its LNG facility in Karratha supply base, offshore production and exploration operations.
