Queensland and Bulldogs prop Ben Hannant is out for 4-6 weeks after being diagnosed with a grade two medial ligament strain.
Hannant battled on courageously to return for the second half of Wednesday night's 24-14 Maroons State of Origin triumph, despite being advised by Queensland medical not to play after injuring his knee early in the game.
He will undergo scans on Thursday to confirm the diagnosis.Hannant is a definite scratching for Friday night's NRL clash with North Queensland while he is also in extreme doubt to play in the Origin finale in three weeks when Queensland will attempt their first series whitewash since 1995.
