Three bogeys on the back nine forced the Australian golfer Wade Ormsby out of the lead to a share of third place in the European Tour's St Omer Open on Saturday.

Christian Nilsson, a Swede ranked 478th, shot a six-under 65 to lead by four strokes after the third round.

Nilsson made an eagle and five birdies to total an 11-under 202. His best finish this year was a share of 31st place at the Open de Andalucia in March.

James Morrison of England (70) stayed second after making four birdies and three bogeys.

Overnight leader Ormsby shot 74 to be seven off the pace, level with Fredrik Andersson Hed of Sweden (71), Sion Bebb of Wales (67) and the 2004 winner Jose-Filipe Lima of Portugal (69).
