Young gun Chris Ciriello claimed a hat trick in Australia's nailbiting 5-4 win over England in the third match of their European tour.
Ciriello scored three penalty goals in the first half, including two in the opening 10 minutes, to steer the Kookaburras to victory.
England kept in touch with two goals of their own before the break but further strikes to Australia's Luke Doerner and Jason Wilson in the second term made a brace of goals to England in the dying stages meaningless.Coach Ric Charlesworth said he was pleased with Ciriello's efforts as he prepares the youthful squad for the Champions Trophy in Melbourne later this year.
