Boy run over by four-wheel-drive

A four-year-old boy run over by a four-wheel-drive in a car park at a central Queensland shopping centre has been flown to Brisbane for treatment.

Police say the boy ran from his mother as she was pushing a trolley towards the undercover carpark in Stocklands Shopping Centre at Kin Kora in Gladstone.

A four-wheel-drive turning into the carpark struck the youngster, who suffered head injuries and is now in intensive care at Brisbane's Royal Children's Hospital.
