Cinema shines on Sydney screens
Contemporary cinema from Australia and around the world will be showcased at an event in Sydney from June 4 to 22.
The Sydney Film Festival will feature screenings of new international films, provocative documentaries, short films, classic cinema and cutting edge new media.
Festival organisers say they aim to create a program that is broad, has depth, and is full of emotional power and resonance.
More than 125,000 patrons will attend red carpet events, screenings and debates, in at least three prominent Sydney venues (State Theatre, Dendy Opera Quays, Greater Union George Street Cinemas).
An associated Travelling Film Festival will visit venues throughout NSW. - Travelpress travel news
