More snow expected for Vic ski resorts

Snow is still falling in Victoria's Alpine region, encouraging some skiers to take to the slopes early.

Falls creek, Mount Hotham and Mount Buller have received more than 20 centimetres of snow since Sunday.

Chris Hocking from Falls Creek, says more snow is expected tonight.

"It was minus 4.6 this morning and it really hasn't got much warmer than around minus two today so the cold air is still here with us, right through to tomorrow," he said.

"There has been a few people up there skiing. Twenty centimetres of snow was enough to get a couple of those really keen people out there."
