Mohamed Haneef granted bail

By 7News A Brisbane magistrate has granted terror suspect and Gold Coast doctor Mohamed Haneef bail.

He was charged on Saturday with recklessly supporting terrorism after being questioned by police.

Barrister Stephen Keim argued for the Indian national to be released on bail after saying the case against his client was weak.

Mr Haneef was detained as a terror suspect after the failed UK bomb attacks in London and Glasgow.
