Woman charged after Redfern robbery

Police in Sydney have arrested and charged a woman after a commuter was allegedly attacked and robbed at the Redfern Railway Station this morning.
The incident happened about 7.30am when a woman got off the train at Redfern and was approached by another woman.
Police will allege a struggle ensued between the two women during which the commuter's mobile phone was stolen.
After inquiries by police a 23-year-old woman was arrested in Everleigh St and taken to Redfern Police Station where she has been charged with robbery with aggravation.
She has been refused bail and is due to appear in Central Local Court later today.
